Water

Water is the fluid of life. It is the most abundant substance on earth that provides the body with the ability to maintain health and prevent its deterioration.

Water is involved in almost every bodily function. From carrying nutrients and electrolytes to facilitating circulation and digestion, proper hydration is paramount for optimum wellness.

But all water is not created equal.  Numerous harmful substances can be found in our drinking water (municipal and well) including lead, mercury, aluminum, cadmium, organic solvents, bacteria, viruses, parasites, industrial chemicals, pesticides, asbestos, radon, nitrates, chlorine and fluorine. If you choose to drink tap water, be sure to use a reverse osmosis filter system.

Spring water is the “natural” water found in surface or underground springs. Other than disinfecting, this water is not processed and is the best choice for drinking. However, there is danger in the bottle as certain plastics leach harmful chemicals (like bisphenol-a) into the water.
