Alcohol, White Wine

White wine is made by pressing fresh picked grapes and removing the skins (which is what gives red wine its color).

The color of white wine can vary due either to the type of grape, or the use of wood.

White wines typically have more sugar and must be treated with sulfites for preservation, unlike their red counterparts. White wines lack the antioxidant resveratrol.
