Protein Powder, Rice

Rice protein powder is made from isolating protein from white, brown, or whole grain rice.  This vegetable protein is a popular vegetarian and gluten-free alternative that is easily digested and full of nutrients. It is a great source of amino acids, the compounds that help rehabilitate muscles, as well as vitamins B and E. These components help rebuild cells, improve metabolism, and boost immunity.

On the downside, rice has been shown to have high levels of arsenic, so it is advised to consume in moderation and choose organic rice protein that has been tested for contaminants.
